The main (best) reason for legalization is that it's so blatantly apparent that it's completely fucking asinine if you do even a minute amount of research into it. The degradation of civil liberties is almost as astounding as the many billions of dollars wasted on this for so way too long. Repave a road, build a hospital, feed a starving family or work on that pesky national deficit, but just stop throwing so much taxpayer money away.
